How to treat ankle injury after being pulled off stage by security guards at SXSW
It’s hard to know how much of a threat Austin is to security, but if there is one thing SXSW security did not expect in 2017, it was the sheer number of people who had to get off stage after being escorted off the stage by an officer.
The festival is a sprawling event that draws a diverse crowd of artists, film and tech talent.
The event’s schedule can be quite busy, but in the end, it’s mostly people that show up to do their job.
That means security has to get out and make sure everyone is safe, but also make sure that the people in attendance are okay.
There’s been a recent spate of reported incidents at SXSXSW, including an attack on a security guard at the 2017 Women in Entertainment awards, and the 2017 SXSW Festival in Austin.
Both were reportedly caused by people trying to enter the event.
Security at SXSFYF has not confirmed any of these incidents, but they’re not the only ones.
In February, security at SXFestXIII in Dallas, Texas was hit by an attack, and a video surfaced that showed people running down the street while trying to steal merchandise from a vendor.
It’s not clear if that incident is connected to the latest incidents.
